starting over

let the riots begin - it's time to regroup.

as some of you may or may not know, i've been having the most entertaining few months here in vancouver b.c. so i have decided to pack up my things, get on a plane, and head back to my hometown. this has not been an easy decision to make and while i feel as though i am leaving the west without doing all of the things that i want to do, the bottom line is that i cannot afford to live here on a job that pays just slightly better than minimum wage. i'm positive that good things await me upon my return and that i will be surprised at the difference that a decade makes. i'm excited to reconnect with my old friends, my family, my city. i dreamt yesterday that i was reading at the library, having coffee with a friend, researching a job. and i was actually pleased with doing all of this. as long as i keep a positive mind i am sure i will be just fine.
